World Beat Dragon Boat Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located in Salem, Oregon. It is operated by and supported by its community of dedicated paddlers, club members, volunteers, and sponsors. The Club is a member of the International Dragon Boat Federation (member of what, any accreditation??).
The Salem Multicultural Institute was founded in 1997 when two local moms with young daughters saw the need to create a positive, tangible response to growing concern about racial tensions in the area. This grass roots effort led to the inaugural Salem World Beat Festival in 1998 – a celebration of all the many cultures that make Oregon a wonderful place.

I’ve always been drawn to the in-between moments—the quiet glances, genuine laughs, and the kind of beauty you can’t script. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a way to tell stories through light, emotion, and connection.
Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a growing family, or a personal brand session, my goal is the same: to make you feel seen and celebrated. I bring a calm, intentional energy to every shoot so you can just be yourself—and trust that I’ll capture the magic in it.
